Washington, DC — Today, Protecting Our Vote PAC (POV), a super PAC dedicated to turning out African-American voters to defeat Donald Trump as well as elect endorsed candidates in local, state, and national races across the United States in 2020, named Rasheedah Thomas, DC communications leader, as its Director of Communications and Spokesperson for the 2020 cycle.
“I’m excited to join POV at this crucial time,” said Rasheedah Thomas, POV Director of Communications. “If the past three and a half years — particularly the last week — have taught us anything, it’s that there’s so much at stake in November, especially for African Americans. We will work tirelessly in the coming months to ensure we all have a voice — and use it — to defeat Donald Trump on Election Day.”
POV Chief of Staff Marissa Lorenzetti added: “We are focused on creating a historic turnout in November to elect candidates who will fight for our values and remove those who do not — from the White House on down. We are thrilled that Rasheedah has joined our dream team of professionals who will help make this happen.”
